A beautiful one-of-a-kind sculpture, a tactile stylized or abstract take on a skull, cranium and mandible, in the format of a bust. Hand built of biscuit colored recycled clay with a beautiful glossy chocolate colored glaze to give a variegated finish. Beautiful organic flowing lines, one of my favorite pieces. It is not symmetrical, and in the manner of an ‘exploded’ bone prep, some of the sections have separated a little from their adjacent base during glaze firing all of which I love as part of the piece.
