A unique quirky two piece anatomy sculpture to sit over the edge of a shelf - two human cerebral hemispheres are depicted as chubby individual creatures snuggled up together and dozing, the brain stem as their heads which flop down comfortably… Made from white porcelain with varnish, the pieces are hollow, the fantasy creatures inspired by dozing elephant seals who look like giant furry slugs, and the tendency for brain hemispheres to some extent to operate independently but cooperatively… ok, yes it’s a bit odd :) 14cm long, 12.5cm wide, approx 1cm overhang from shelf surface.
